If you choose to use our "Find Online Purchases" feature, we will store the following email-specific data points about Things added to your account from your Google email: the Google-specific identifier of the email pointing to the e-receipt, the date of the aforementioned email, the name of the retailer, your "order number" from the retailer, the purchase amount, and information about the items you purchased themselves. To enable this feature, the full text of each email receipt is passed to Amazon Bedrock, which helps us determine what Things you may have purchased. We use extremely specific search terms via Gmail's API to target purchase receipts and nothing else - only these emails are passed to Amazon Bedrock, however it is not possible to fully predict which emails will or will not be included. According to Amazon Bedrock's privacy policy, any data shared in AI prompts will never be shared by Amazon Web Services. We will never attempt to access your email for means that are not to serve the above feature. We will only ever query your email messages with extremely specific search terms to target purchase receipts.
